Our Fleeces

Our fleeces are professionally shorn annually.  The fleeces we offer for sale to handspinners are the best of the crop and are very carefully managed:  Covered year round, they are skirted heavily, then sampled and tested for micron counts and comfort factor. Ranging from 20 to 23 microns with staple lengths of 2 to 3 inches, they generally score in the 95th percentile and above for comfort.  In addition to white, we also have beautiful natural colored fleece in black, grey, and moorit (caramel brown).
